Nursery...

As first-time parents, we were unaware of when to purchase certain items. But as some of you know, my dear friend Heather, who is 7 weeks ahead of me, always gives me advice as to when to purchase certain things. For those of you unaware of these time tables, it is recommended to order your baby furniture at 5 months, which we are proudly at! The reason for ordering at 5 months is to give ample time for furniture to become in stock, which could take up to 12 weeks. This led us to our first ever baby furniture purchase. No one EVER told us how expensive baby furniture can be and how much fun it is to pick out, but also how stressful it is to purchase due to the "Final Sale" policy. We were lucky to have all the furniture we picked in stock and so we (I mean, Daniel) was able to pick it up this weekend and set it up. What a WONDERFUL DAD!

Much to my surprise it fit very well in the nursery and it looks PERFECT! Being as impatient as we are, especially as first time parents, we were eager to put everything up we have purchased thus far. Well, we actually hadn't purchased the mattress and we WERE going to wait, but we were sooo excited after all the furniture was set up that we went to purchase a mattress at 9:00pm last night at BabiesR'Us! The nursery is still a little bare, but it already looks great! Julian is going to love his new home! We can't express how in love we are with this little guy, that he makes us do the most impulse buys at 9:00 pm at night! We love you Julian!!!!!
