First day of School vs Last Day of School

It was officially Julian's last day of preschool today and of course had to have my all time favorite comparison shot from beginning of the school versus end of the school year. Well, with Daddy's help, I was able to get my comparison shot! Julian has grown so much throughout the year and its a blessing to capture these moments. We love you, pumpkin!

Big Boy Room

With the upcoming arriving of baby girl (yes, still no name), we moved Julian into a bigger room and bought him a big boy bed. Its been a little over a week and he seems to like it, but we try not to remind him of his crib because sometimes he will want to get back in there since he calls himself a baby. We are very happy that it is all done and can't wait to get started on baby girl's room! I may not be the best decorator, but I surely enjoy doing it, especially for my babies!!

Look what I can do!

With very little practice, Julian has picked up on reading three letter words pretty quickly.  What a tremendous accomplishment for an almost three year old! 

We couldn't be more proud!

It's a GIRL!

As many of you have already heard, our newest addition to the Hinojosa family is a healthy baby girl!!!!!! She was so very cooperative during her ultrasound and was as sweet as can be. We weren't as fortunate to get that many pictures this time around, but we are sooo happy to report a healthy baby girl with a strong heart! All of our family and friends were overjoyed to hear that we are having a girl (our very own Princess or mommy's very own doll) and we couldn't be happier! We love her sooo much already!!

Conversation with Big Brother:
Mom: Julian, the baby in the belly is a girl! You are going to have a baby sister!!
Julian: The baby in the belly is a girl?
Mom: Yes.
Julian: "YEA"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mom: Are you happy the baby is a girl?
Julian: The baby in the belly is not a boy? The baby in the belly is a girl? WHY?!
