Way to go, Julian!!!

I am so excited and proud of Julian for accomplishing TWO milestones all in one day! It started with him flipping over from tummy to back today for the first time. Unfortunately, I happened to step away for a VERY brief moment when he did it. Maybe he wanted to get it right before he shows mommy and daddy what he can do. Although I didn't get a video of it today, I will definitely be with camera in hand and prepared for the next time! Until then, mommy is beyond proud! :)

Later in the evening I was surprised to see that he was able to sit unassisted for 10 seconds!!! Can you believe this all happened in one day?! What a proud mommy I am! Way to go, Julian!

Silly Hats

This weekend for Julian's 3rd month Birthday, we went to Tia (Aunt) Monica's house for a photo session with the hospital's photographer. She was 1.5 hours late and unfortunately Julian was fussy during the photo session since it was cutting into his nap time. I am HOPEFUL we at least got a few good shots. On the bright side, Tia Monica bought Julian all kinds of goodies! She has made me aware of the fact that it is her goal to buy Julian silly hats. Here are the first of many hats to model. Thank you, SIS! We love everything you bought him!

3 Months Old!

I have been very blessed to be able to spend 100% of my time with Julian for the past 3 months. Although the end of my maternity leave is approaching, I couldn't be more appreciative of the ML extension from work that allowed me to stay home longer than the 6 weeks given. Not only has this been the hardest thing I have ever done, it has also been the most rewarding experience of my life. My whole world has changed in every way and I just don't remember my life before Julian entered our world. He has made our life complete and shown us that there is more to life then we ever imagined.

With that being said, Julian is now 3 months old and has changed so much. He is now squealing when he talks, has a smile that will light up a room, and now giggles in the most adorable way. He hasn't quite mastered the roll over, but I am certain he will surprise me soon. He is weighing 17 pounds 11 ounces of PURE GOODNESS! Yes, he is a big boy, but will always be my little baby!!!
