Below are pictures I took myself for Xmas cards...I'm pretty pleased with the results!

 

 

Lauren is Three Months Old

Its so hard to believe that my big girl is three months old. Trying to remember every little thing she has done and accomplished these past few months will be a challenge but I will try...

At 3 months:

• Weigh approximately 14lbs
• Wear size 2 diapers and 3-6 and 6 month clothes
• Drink 4 oz a bottle every three hours during the day and 2 times at night
• You sleep from 7:30 to 6:30 and wake up twice to eat (2am and 5am)
• You have slept over 8 hours maybe 4-5 times already. Mommy and daddy hope this becomes a trend and not an exception ;)
• You are on your OWN schedule and not interested in sleeping on a standard baby schedule
• You are officially a cat napper and naps last about 30-40 minutes. You were initially sleeping 2 hours on the swing even after you started catnapping, but even now on the swing you wake up after 30 mins. I'm hoping things gets better as you get older
• Have had your first cold and it is heartbreaking to see you sick so young. We had to do breathing treatments and all. We also visited urgent care (already), but you were fine. Thank God! :)
• Your smile is beyond contagious. Makes our hearts melt every time!
• You are the best babbler and we can't get enough it (my favorite)
• You are extremely ticklish and although I try not to, I can't resist tickling you to get a giggle out of you
• You have technically giggled with tickles, but haven't spontaneously done it on your own (although daddy claims you have laughed with him)
• You have the most beautiful and mesmerizing eyes!!!!
• Mommy has failed at putting you on your tummy often that your head control is not where it should be, but I promise you will get there soon
• You seem to tolerate tummy time for at least 2-5 minutes now...big improvement
• You like to watch tv in the morning while mommy gets things done
• You are officially being watched by grandma while mommy goes back to work. Mommy went back to work on Nov 25th. Sad day for mommy!
• Bath time is your absolute favorite
• Your brother just adores you and can't stop requesting to kiss you
• We are just in love with you and your brother and being called your mommy and daddy are  a privilege we will forever honor

Your 3 month birthday happen to fall on your 1st Thanksgiving

Moving on out...

The transition has been made and I am not turning back!!! Lauren has officially been moved to her crib as of November 9th! Although, she did EXCELLENT the first night sleeping over 9 hours, she has not done it again. SIGH :-/  I'm hoping as she gets older, things get better because this mommy is tired!! With less than 2 weeks left with my princess, I am sad to go back to work, but also so blessed to have had almost 3 full months to watch her grow.

Once again, my sweet, loving, and romantic husband surprised me with the BEST birthday present a girl could ask for. Not many men go out of their way to express themselves wholeheartedly, but I was dedicated a blog with the most beautiful love letters one could only dream of receiving. My love for him is beyond words and he makes me fall in love with him all over again. I know you are probably wondering why I'm sharing his letters to my readers, because I'm not trying to brag (ok, maybe a little), it's to put into words how much I absolutely love his devotion to me and his family and the way he makes it all complete. I'm a hopeless romantic who lives with the perfect romantic. I'm a lucky girl!!!!!
