Happy Halloween

Lauren is 2 Months Old

At 2 months:

• Weigh 13 lbs  (93%) & 22.75 inches long (64%) & head circumference of 15.75 inches (79%)

• We will be moving you up to size 2 diapers as soon as we finish the last of size 1

• Wear size 0-3 months clothes

• You got your first round of shots and your ears are pierced!! Appointment was actually 2 days later. Even though it was beyond painful to watch, Lauren, you will thank me later for getting it out of the way now while you are still a baby and won't remember a thing. Not to mention, you look beautiful with your new earnings!

• We switched you to Nutramigen and your taste-buds are adjusting to the new flavor (not your favorite) because we sometimes don't finish our bottles. You eat somewhere between 3-4 ozs

• You have been diagnosed with acid reflux and are doing much better with medicine

• The formula change has been great and you are a much happier baby (see pics below)

• You seem to struggle (VERY VERY MUCH) with naps and we are a work in progress in that area, hence the establishing a nap schedule/routine is non-existent at this point

• The only routine established at this point is bath time between 7-8pm, bottle, then bedtime

• You L.O.V.E. bath time

• You slept for a little over 6 hours straight on Oct 26th

• You smile A LOT, which is MY favorite! You are due to laud aloud any day now and I can NOT wait for it

• You are starting to babble more every day

• You just love your brother and his insistence on kissing you ALL.THE.TIME. You are the first thing he asks for in the morning and he can't wait to kiss you ~ he really loves you!!
• You had your first sleep over at Grandma's on Oct 18th, which allowed Daddy and I a much needed date night and the opportunity to sleep one full night. Thank goodness for your grandma :)

• You tolerate the play mat but you really dislike tummy time, therefore have not so good head control ~ I really hate to see you struggle so its a work in progress for mommy too 
• You can focus really well and follow objects and people. I love when you turn your head when you hear the sound of my voice
• I'm not sure if you are ready to sleep in your crib just yet since sleeping is not your strong suit, so next to Mommy you will be at night until at least naps improve. Daddy moved out temporarily since you were a week old, but he hopes to be back soon! 
• You will always be our little princess and we can't wait to watch you grow

Mommy, daddy, and Julian just love you more than you will ever know!!

Our love bug is getting extra chunky and even cuter with each day that passes. Happy 7 Week Old Birthday, Princess!!! WE LOVE YOU!

Lauren is One Month Old

Our little girl turned one month old this past weekend and we have to admit time is slipping by even faster while trying to entertain a three year old big brother full of energy. We love our little princess and couldn't feel more blessed with our beautiful chunky monkey.

At one month

• Weighs 10 lbs 6 oz (since her last doctor visit on 9/25)
• Wears size 1 diapers and has graduated to 0-3 month clothes
• Sleep is a commodity we strive for every night since she had her days and nights confused for her first month, but we hope to improve soon :)
• Eating 4 oz every 3 hours (definitely a nice appetite like her big brother)
• Loving and absorbing every waking minute with our princess
