Julian & Sophia - Best Friends
As our regular play dates have become far and few in between, we take advantage of ANY photo opportunities we have with these kiddos. So as one can imagine, BOTH mommies are clicking away hoping to get a good shot and while its hard to get them all to smile at the same time, mission was surprisingly accomplished. Although I don't think it was even necessary because they are cute enough to pass with or without a smile!
Sophia & Julian don't seem to skip a beat! Even with the distance and time that has gone by, these kids love each other so much! And just so you all know, we did NOT make them hold hands, they did that all on their own.
I told you they LOVE each other!

Happy Halloween!
For Halloween this year we decided not to splurge on a costume for various reasons and so we went with something simple and cute, did I mention CUTE because he was the cutest little Clark Kent to date! As you can see he has been the CUTEST Bam Bam and Skeleton Boy too and I will continue to take advantage of all the cutesy costumes before he demands the spookier (not so cute) ones. I think I can MAYBE get away with it one more year, we'll see...
I just love the year to year comparisons. Maybe he will appreciate it one day. |
Hydrating before we go trick or treating
(Technically he only went to 4 houses, 2 of which were his aunts)
My handsome boy! |

School Pictures
These are Julian's very first school pictures and I honestly can't decide on one. What mother could? Our baby is growing up WAYYYY too fast!

First Day of School
What a big step! We enrolled Julian in a 2 day program at St. Luke's Day School and we couldn't be more proud. If you know my kid, you would expect a roaring cry when we left him for the very very first time with perfect strangers and although he did not prove us wrong we were very happy to hear he did not cry the entire time. On and off throughout his stay. I mean, that is major progress! Anyway, of course the proud mama was there with the big camera capturing this very big milestone. We obviously know he will outgrow this separation anxiety and hope he adjusts sooner rather than later. He looks sooo adorable with his bag!
It was encouraged by his teachers to get him
to start carrying his own bag.
Doesn't he look adorable??
This is major!
Although my kid is a giant, this bag makes
him look so small and utterly adorable!
Making himself right at home before he
realized mommy and daddy weren't staying
His new classmate, Finian
Before the meltdown~ LOL!
We love you so much, Julian!!
