It all began last Saturday morning with the sneezing, runny nose, and fever. As Sunday night was fast approaching, the fever was persistent and the night was by far a LONG ONE! After not being able to sleep AT ALL, we took immediate action and took Julian to the doctor's office on Monday morning. Julian was diagnosed with a bad ear infection and virus. Now being a new mother and this being Julian's 1st ear infection, I often heard of how dreadful an ear infection can be, but I finally experienced the wrath of one! By Monday, I was so exhausted from the sleepless night before, Daniel, being the AMAZING & WONDERFUl daddy and husband that he is, took the ENTIRE night shift and let me sleep in order to be able to operate the next day with a very tired and sick baby. A couple of days went by and things were not getting better. By the end of the week, Julian and I were both diagnosed with the flu. It was a long and dreadful week, but I am very thankful that I was able to stay at home and care for my very sick baby boy. Although, we are still not at 100%, we felt good enough to get out of the house today to go buy Julian some new shoes. And boy, did he look ADORABLE!
Here are pictures from the grueling week. And YES, I still manage to take pictures when we are BOTH sick.
Day 2 (Sunday) - Not feeling too snazzy
Day 3 (Monday) - Fever & Ear infection struck hard
Day 4 (Tuesday) - Fever gone, but still sick
Day 7 (Saturday) - Got his new shoes and he is ready to paint the town!
Looking cool on a Saturday night
