Happy Birthday, Daniel!

EXACTLY one year ago today, on Daniel's 34th Birthday, we were told that we were expecting a healthy baby B-O-Y!!! Here we are, one year later and we can't say enough, how much Julian has changed our lives significantly.

Happy 7 Month Birthday

Happy 7 Month Birthday to Julian!!! As many of you have already read from my previous posts, Julian has accomplished so much in the past month. Could I be any prouder??? Impossible! I am just so happy to have a beautiful healthy & HAPPY baby boy that makes us so happy on a daily basis.  Whether he reaches many milestones or no milestones, we will always be proud to call him our son.

At 7 months, Julian...

• Weighs approximately 25 lbs
• Wears 12 month clothes and size 4 diapers
• Drinks 30 ozs. of formula (decreased milk amount and still manages to gain weight - Sorry, kid!)
• Eats baby food twice a day
• Mastered sitting unassisted and flipping back and forth on tummy (Did I say how proud I am?!)
• Got his FIRST tooth (1 down, 19 to go!)
• Crawling has now turned into creeping (Drags his body without physically using his knees. Whats the difference? ~ A baby creeps to get the toy that is across the room, while a baby crawls to get across a room.)
• Can stand while holding onto objects. Standing unassisted is a work in progress (we go back and forth on this one)
• Has learned to use the walker very well
• Loves to bounce
• Loves to be read & sung to
• Sleeps from 8:00pm - 7:30am (I love you for this!!!)
• Wakes up with a smile every morning (OUR favorite)
• Very ticklish :)
• Kiwi loves Julian and Julian loves Kiwi (sorry Tuna ~ Mommy still loves you!)
• Has mastered holding bottle and putting pacifier in his mouth (Big help for mommy!)
• Responds to his name :)
• Babbles all the time (personal favorite)
• Indiscriminately says "dada" (still working on "Mama")
• Smiles all the time (all-time favorite ~ I will always have more than one favorite)
• And everything else you do that makes us smile!!! You are one happy baby that God has blessed our lives with!

My First Tooth!

If you click on picture and zoom in enough you can see Julian's first tooth! Although he didn't have to do much, I am still one proud mommy!!!

CRAWLING

Can I just say how PROUD I am of my boy?!?!?!?! Not only has Julian begun to stand unassisted for a few seconds, he has also gotten his first tooth and NOW, on New Year's Day, has learned how to CRAWL!!!! All this in ONE WEEK! WOW, I can not emphasize enough how time flies, but these last 6 months have been the ABSOLUTE BEST times of my life!!!!! Daddy was so proud that the paparazzi came out of him...see the proof!
