Our 1st Thanksgiving

For obvious reasons, this was one VERY special Thanksgiving. Although it was Julian's first thanksgiving, he wasn't able to enjoy the yummy food daddy prepared ALL by himself, instead he had pears in a jar. Suffice to say, the food we shared with Grandma & Grandpa was delicious! Thank you honey for making such a scrumptious meal, but most of all, thank you for being the best father and husband!

I recognize and thank the Lord for infinite reasons, but most of all I thank him for this one amazing precious life he has allowed us to raise as our own, my incredibly loving family and my loyal & life-long friends. I count my blessings every day and realize how lucky we are to have such great people in our lives.

5 Months (I know, I'm Late!)

I wanted to post pictures from Julian's 4 month birthday to his 5 month birthday to see how much our baby has grown. He sure seems to follow daddy's footsteps in looks, appetite and sports. At five months:

• Has managed to only flip over twice (we will get there eventually)
• Sits very well unsupported for a good amount of time
• Finishes his entire jar of Stage 1 Baby Food at one sitting (are you surprised?)
• Can drink out of glass pretty well
• Enjoys football & basketball on tv with dad
• Loves bath time
• Wakes up with a smile every morning (my favorite)
• Sleeps from 8:00pm - 7:30am (wakes up once or twice)
• Goes in circles on tummy time
• Wears size 3 diapers and 6-12 month clothes
• Weighs approximately 22 lbs. ( I KNOW!)
• Squeals and giggles with any touch to his body ~ he is VERY ticklish
• Responds to his name half the time
• And many more things I can mention, but I will just let you enjoy the pictures below.

My 1st Halloween

What can I say other than, what ADORABLE babies we have?!?! Aunt Heather, Kevin, and Sophie met us at Discovery Green for some lunch and Halloween fun! Well, it was fun for Heather and I to play dress up. We had a BLAST (as always) and will continue these playdates for many years to come. I will avoid any further small talk and will let Heather do all the real blogging about our Discovery Green fun. Thanks to Tina for making these adorable costumes with love.
