Finally a Baby Shape!

Another GREAT appointment today, which required an ultrasound. Pumpkin is growing so rapidly, the size of a large plum, and was moving during the ultrasound. Although I had to give more blood and if everyone knows me, they know I hate needles, but it was SO worth it! The baby did a flip and waved hello (no kidding)!!!! I also heard the beautiful sound of its heartbeat, which was louder and stronger this time. I believe we will find out the sex on January 20th, Daniel's birthday! This will be daddy's birthday gift from Pumpkin, if he/she cooperates. I have posted a couple of updated photos of Pumpkin, which now actually looks like a baby and not a dot!

Heartbeat

I am happy to report that a heartbeat was detected at our last appointment!!! WOOHOO Pumpkin!!! Thanks for letting Mommy & Daddy get a sneak peak of your beating heart! We love the little guy (or girl) ALREADY! I am getting more and more excited and finally feel pregnant. This is a huge blessing and all so new to us. Thanks to everyone for all the reassurance a mother needs to get by each day.

Big news...

It took three tests and a doctor’s appointment to convince myself that “I am PREGNANT.” I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw my pumpkin’s heartbeat!!!! It was LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT! Yes, I must admit it is still hard to believe, but Daniel keeps assuring me that something is growing inside of me. More Pumpkin updates coming soon...
