Our perfectly imperfect family would not be complete without our little Miss Independent! My sweet little baby girl is 5 years old and I am not sure how to handle that at this point. But we must go on...
- Lucky you, your first day of Kindergarten is on your 5th birthday
- Wear size "medium" tops & bottoms, size 13 shoe
- You continue to sleep from 8:00ish pm till about 7:00ish am
- You have become a unicorn enthusiast and request for everything unicorns!
- Went on a nice spring break trip in March with Tia Monica, Tio Lupe and Tia Maria to Riviera Maya. We stayed at a beautiful resort, Barcelo Maya Palace, where if you could, you wanted to live at, but unfortunately, we had to go home!
- We also visited New Orleans, LA and Seacrest, FL for our summer vacation. While the beach was beautiful, you and your brother preferred to play in the pool. With that in mind, we will delay another beach vacation for a few years. ;)
- You are still a lover of all animals and the elephant has become a runner up to your unicorn!
- Currently, your favorite show is True & the Rainbow Kingdom on Netflix.
- On your 4 year old post it says you were still in your crib (YIKES); I think soon after that entry we bought you a big girl bed and you have been such a big girl since that day.
- You make your bed without anyone asking you to, which is SO AWESOME!
- You even tell your brother to make his bed and sometimes help him ~ haha.
- You finished your Pre-K with Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Supak, our absolute favorite teachers whom we will miss dearly!!! You were enrolled in Pre-K program at St. Luke's Day school (M 9-noon, T-W from 9:00 - 2:30).
- Currently enrolled in Kindergarten at St. Luke's Day school (M-F, 9:30-2:30), Ms. Mitchell and Ms. Augustus will be your teachers.
- Favorite color is now pink (previously purple).
- Lately you have been such a girly girl wanting dresses, sparkly shoes and your finger nails painted :)
- You are doing really well with the few sight word flash cards I have introduced you to.
- You have become quite the Artist and love to draw unicorns, elephants, giraffes, etc. and had the best art display in Pre-K class.
- Favorite foods: Colby cheese and crackers, Cliff Kids Oatmeal bar, watermelon, blueberries, ice cream, and milk.
- You STILL undoubtedly ADORE your big brother and miss him tremendously now that he is back in school.
- Your 5th birthday party was a "Unicorn" theme at Noah's Ark Pool and you had so much fun.
- You will always be our baby girl!
